Purse State Park is great for fossil collectors like me, because there is an abundance of shark teeth fossils from millions of years ago! Bring a sifter (mine was homemade), and finding teeth will be easy! Beware: When it's high tide, hardly any of the beach is visible, and the parking is very limited (like 8 spots or so). It is in Maryland, on the Potomac River, where it's great for hunting, bird watching, and hiking. The place is wonderful because it's in the woods, but you might want to wear hiking boots there because there is a one fourth to one half of a mile long hike through the forest to get to the beach itself.
